Meet Our Team
Meet Dr. Sky
My name is Dr. Skyler Schubel, though most patients know me as Dr. Sky.
I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, California. Since then, I have been dedicated to continually advancing my clinical skills through ongoing education to provide the highest standard of evidence-based dental care.
Originally from Southern California, I am proud to now call the Pacific Northwest home. Outside the office, I enjoy exercising, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
My philosophy is simple: every patient deserves compassionate, personalized care in a welcoming environment. I believe that trust, empathy, and open communication are the foundation of exceptional dentistry. My goal is to ensure each patient feels heard, respected, and confident in their treatment while receiving the highest quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Together with my team, I am committed to continually improving our knowledge, technology, and patient experience so we can provide outstanding dental care for you and your family.

Front Desk Office Administrator
Hi, I'm Megan, and I'm proud to be part of the Ballard Dental Care team.
A Pacific Northwest native, I grew up in Mukilteo, Washington, and have worked in dentistry for more than 10 years. I have been fortunate to serve the Ballard Dental Care family for nearly five years, where I enjoy building lasting relationships with our patients and helping create a positive, welcoming experience at every visit.
I am passionate about making each patient feel comfortable and cared for, and I strive to ensure everyone leaves our office with a healthy smile and a positive experience.
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. I am also a licensed cosmetologist and continue to enjoy doing hair. At home, I love spending time with my two cats, Roxy and Ricky Bobby, who always keep life entertaining.
Albany
Hi, I'm Albany Sanchez, and I'm proud to be one of Dr. Sky's dental assistants.
As an experienced dental assistant, I am passionate about providing compassionate, personalized care and helping every patient feel comfortable and at ease during their visit. My goal is to create a positive dental experience that builds trust and keeps patients smiling.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to better serve and communicate with our Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout their care.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending live concerts, hiking, camping, staying active, and taking long walks with my red-nose pit bull, Selena.

Our practice is conveniently located right in the heart of Ballard off of 15th Ave, and is easy to get to by car or public transportation.
